A Kasich spokesman said the Republican presidential candidate will speak in
Columbus at 5 p.m. ET.
He originally had planned to speak with reporters at the Dulles airport in
Virginia ahead of finance events Wednesday, but did not show up. The
campaign later confirmed he was not going to Dulles.
The speculation over his plans comes after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz suspended his
campaign Tuesday night, having finished a distant second in the Indiana
primary.
Kasich placed last in that contest, though his campaign said Tuesday night
they would keep going – until a candidate has the requisite 1,237 delegates.
Donald Trump has not yet reached that number. | c*******4
