Conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh has a pretty darn scary prediction
about the whole Confederate flag debate going on across the nation right now
, and it’s enough to give make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
Limbaugh thinks all of this hoopla about the Confederate flag is really
preparation for the big target liberals have in their sights: the American
flag.
Unfortunately, with the assaults that have already been taking place on Old
Glory, this isn’t that hard to believe.

“I have a prediction,” Limbaugh began, later adding, “Do not doubt me
.”
“If you take a look at the timeline of progressive events, their speed
and rapidity with which the left is conducting this assault on all of these
American traditions and institutions, if you don’t think the American flag
’s in their crosshairs down the road, you had better stop and reconsider,”
Limbaugh continued.
His prediction isn’t for a future dystopian America as he said “it
will not be long” before the American flag is referred to by the left as a
“symbol of hate.” There is currently a bipartisan effort underway to
remove the Confederate flag from the South Carolina Statehouse following a
racially motivated mass shooting that left nine dead at a historically black
church.
“It isn’t gonna be long before the American flag is gonna cause chills
, fear, scary thoughts,” Limbaugh said.
Limbaugh went on to do his infamous liberal impersonation saying, “It’s
gonna make me nervous, the American flag, when I see the American flag, it’
s a symbol of hate.”
I sincerely hope he’s wrong, but let’s face it, liberals haven’t been shy
about their hatred for the flag, and they’ve already started trying to
shift culture away from patriotic admiration for the Star Spangled Banner by
shaming folks who proudly display it on their own private property.
When you give a liberal an inch, you can bet your bottom dollar they’ll
take a mile, which is exactly what they’ll start doing if you let them ban,
well, anything. They’ll push the line has hard as they can to get as much
of their agenda accomplished as possible.
We as Americans need to stand boldly for freedom, and that means defending
our rights and the rights of people who might be jerks, in order to keep the
government from taking our liberty.
While I don’t much care for the Confederate flag personally — largely due
to the fact that most people I know who own one aren’t exactly model
citiznes — I have no problem with a person flying it, displaying it,
whatever. That’s their right, and I’d defend their liberty to believe and
think what they want with my dying breath.
I can disagree with someone and still not desire their freedom of expression
to be infringed upon. Believe it or not, it’s possible.
With that being said, if we don’t push back against this progressive
insanity, it’ll spread like a cancer throughout the nation and eventually
kill off the greatest country that’s ever been established in the history
of man.
We simply can’t let that happen. | j*****v
