SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police say a woman was knocked unconscious when she
was pelted by an egg in a so-called drive-by egging.
Detective Patrick Michaud says the egg hit the woman right behind the ear
and knocked her out early Tuesday. Her friends caught her before she fell to
the ground and drove her to a local hospital.
Police say the woman and her friends were standing outside a bar in the
Crown Hill neighborhood when someone in a passing truck threw a volley of
eggs at them. An employee of the bar was also hit in the egging.
Michaud said Thursday that he didn't know her condition.
Witnesses described the truck as a small black or green pickup with a canopy
and dark-tinted windows. |

south Houston. Investigators say the shooting happened around 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday night on Mallow Street near Noel Street.
Detectives believe a group of men showed up to a duplex to rob a man when
gunfire started.
The suspects drove away in a Grey 2011 Chevy Malibu. Police say they are
looking for three or four black males, some wearing red pants.
Investigators say they have seen drug activity in the area before, but no
drugs or weapons were found inside the duplex.
The two people transported to Methodist Hospital appeared to have gunshot
wounds, but their condition is unknown.
Police say it's too early to know if they were involved in the same shootout.
