Dear Patients,
In 2004 I opened my practice in **** with the intent of providing service to
my patients that would meet their needs of high quality medical care that I
felt I could provide. Over these past nine plus years I have continued to
practice in this way to give this high quality of care to all of you.
Many of you are aware of the many changes that have evolved in health care
and particularly in the different managed care components of health care in
the past two years due to the Affordable Care Act. Starting in January 2014
many of these changes will be implemented and much added paper work and
electronic record keeping will be required of Primary Care Physicians. A
majority of these changes will make being in solo practice in a small office
with only one doctor very difficult, if not impossible. Therefore, I have
been seriously contemplating what would be best for my patients and how to
provide the constantly changing demands of managed care for all of you.
I have talked to several groups regarding the possibility of merging with
other clinics or individuals and feel that I have now found the best for
this particular practice. On October 1st ***** will be happy to take over
patient care, and I am trusting will provide for you as good and more
efficient health care. I will be moving to the East Coast where I have been
offered the opportunity of directing a small rural medical clinic in *****
