For the first time in my life I’m proud that Jimmy Carter is finally making
some sense. The angry left isn’t going to be happy with this…
The jury made the “right decision” in the George Zimmerman murder
trial, former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday.
“I think the jury made the right decision based on the evidence
presented, because the prosecution inadvertently set the standard so high
that the jury had to be convinced that it was a deliberate act by Zimmerman
that he was not at all defending himself, and so forth,”
Carter told Atlanta news channel WXIA. “It’s not a moral question, it’s a
legal question and the American law requires that the jury listens to the
evidence presented.”
He better look out or the Obama “Justice Department” may set up a snitch
line to rat out on Jimmy. | h****z

持的，惨败给里根后他的工作重心基本在海外，他在人权和外交两个方向做的工作还是
要肯定的。

dropped to 34 percent approval by the time he left office, with 55 percent
disapproving.
Gallup surveys gave him a 45 percent approval rating in 1994, 69 percent in
1999, and 52 percent in 2011. A 2009 C-SPAN survey of historians placed
Carter 25th of 42 former presidents (counting Grover Cleveland only once) in
terms of leadership qualities -- not exactly FDR and Lincoln territory, but
not Buchanan and Harding, either.

卡特下台后的表现还是很给力的，经常替现任总统做特使去调节外交关系。美国人还是
比较认可他下台后的表现的。
虽然有点调侃的意味，但是很能反映卡特下台前后支持率的对比。
