Obviously the perpetrators haven’t been swayed by the nauseating spectacle
of “the children” reading letters to Obama. But remember, the NRA are the
bad guys.
Two men were shot to death in separate attacks within about 15 minutes
of each other, one in Austin and one in Back of the Yards, authorities said.
The dead were among 11 people shot since Friday afternoon across the
city, including two teens in the Stoney Island Park neighborhood.
About 9:15 p.m., a man was shot to death inside a Popeye’s Louisiana
Kitchen, 5500 W. North Ave.
The man, who witnesses said was about 21 years old, was inside a
business when he was shot from outside by someone who fled on foot, said
Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer. He was unresponsive on the
scene when police found him but taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of
Cook County, police said.
Three workers inside were cleaning up inside as police examined shell
casings outside about 10 p.m. Someone fired at least four times from outside
the restaurant, piercing a window and striking the man, police said.
If the media really had any interest in stopping gun violence they’d all be
camped out in Chicago doing reports 24/7. The network newscasts would lead
off every night with the death toll. But no, instead they’re working in
concert with the administration to demonize the NRA and law-abiding gun
owners. They have their priorities and it’s not stopping gun violence. It’
s destroying any and all opposition. |
