As an individual, what you should do? Here is my list:
1. Stop all the retirement plan. IRA, ROTHIRA, 401K ...... etc.
For myself, I never interested in this plan. I don't have IRA, ROTHIRA,
and about $7000 401K. I might leave it there. But if you have over a $100K
in 401K, I suggest you take it out now, pay some penalty. That's what I did
before the financial crisis. I paid my penalty, took out my 401K, and
stopped contributing ever since.
I never trusted the government.
2. It's tough to do any investment right now. I would suggest you to buy a
condo, or house in USA, even in China. Buy some stock too.
Don't depend on SS, Medicaid, because it's undependable. All the
retirement plan is dangerous once you put them in the government's hand.
The inflation in USA start to pick up, Any money saved for the future is
dangerous. Talk to your friends to find some way to fight inflation.
Of course, if you don't have income, or willing depend on the government,
that's a different story. |
