发帖数: 977 | 1 THE BENGHAZI ATTACK TIME-LINE:
1.) Three separate requests for help starting at approx 9:45pm from the CIA
Annex, which is approx 1 mile away from the U.S. Embassy.
2.) CIA operatives requested permission to respond to the Embassy when they
hear shots being fired. The request was denied. They were told to "Stand
down". The second request was made an hour later and again they were told, "
Stand down."
3.) The CIA operatives, including Tyrone Woods, disregarded orders and made
their way to the consulate to provide help.
4.) At 11:00pm Benghazi time, President Obama, V.P. Biden, Defense Secretary
Leon Panetta meet in the Oval Office of the White House and had information
about the attack.
5.) By the time Woods arrived at the Embassy, it was too late. They could
not find the Ambassador, so they rescued the remaining 30 people and brought
them back to the CIA Annex at 12 midnight.
6.) At this point a third request for back-up was made (over 2 hours since
the initial request) for military help and air cover at the CIA Annex, but
no help was sent.
7.) A very small rapid reaction force (Glen Doherty) responded from the
capitol of Tripoli to the Benghazi airport at 2:00am. It took them an
additional 45 minutes to make their way to the CIA Annex.
8.) They were delayed because they could not get an escort from the Libyans.
9.) When they arrived four (4) mortars were fired upon the CIA Annex. One
killed Glen Doherty directly.
10.) Tyrone Woods was struck by machine-gun fire from a rooftop.
11.) The Rapid Reaction team did have LASER pointers on the mortar and
machine-gun positions in the event aircraft support did arrive. No support
arrived, because no support was sent.
12.) Helicopter gunships and C130s were on standby, but never dispatched.
13.) Two (2) separate drone aircraft were overhead and were providing real-
time video feeds.
Obama is the Commander-in-Chief. He could have ordered something. Three
requests were made for help. There was a 7 HOUR window from the time Woods
first requested to provide assistance until the time he died and we had
considerable amount of people within range to provide help. If nothing else,
he could have ordered F16s fly over with full afterburner to disperse the
crowd. He could have called in a C130 to put bullets on the ground.
Our special forces are trained to adapt and overcome. There's never "ideal"
conditions. Being president means being in charge. And in this case, the
White House and State Department sat by and watched as people died. | P*O
