poor to keep it in power and it has a lot of incentive to keep the poor poor.
The Democratic party donnors include many groups, among which:
1. the super duper uber rich, for whom economic issues are almost none
issues. These are top of the forbes list. Typical fortune 500 CEOs are not
even in this club. you can see how their deep pockets help domocratic party.
2. people/organization with liberal social agenda: liberal scholars,
hollywood/media, environmental groups, gay-les groups, etc. many of these
have deep pockets, they donate aggressively with clear goal in mind, many of
these make money by advancing their agenda, or by maintaining popular image.
3. union labors/labor unions: this covers a lot of govt workers, teachers,
blue collars, health care workers. about 12% of US work force are unionized.
The unions have extremely deep pocket, strong power and motivation.
