U.S. Accuses Goldman Sachs of Fraud
By LOUISE STORY and GRETCHEN MORGENSON
Goldman Sachs, which emerged relatively unscathed from the financial crisis,
was accused of securities fraud in a civil suit filed Friday by the
Securities and Exchange Commission, which claims the bank created and sold a
mortgage investment that was secretly devised to fail.

It indeed is, smartass.
You can put Goldman in jail all you want but those derivatives are gambling
contracts by their nature.. If you don't do your homework on what is at
stake but bet on SEC monitoring or Moody's ratings, then you deserved to
lose money.
