耶稣就对彼得说，收刀入鞘罢，我父给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢。”（约18：11）
神塑造我们，比艺术家作画要辛苦千倍，要经过许多充满悲痛的笔法，加以各种色
调的背景，才把我们造成他心目中最高贵的形式。而在我们方面，只要以正当的精神接
受他所赐的“没药。”
但若把那杯推开，抹煞或漠视这些充满悲痛的感情，对于灵魂就会造成比以往所能
修补者更大的伤害。没有人能想象神以何等超越的爱，把没药赐给我们，我们应该接受
这对灵魂有益的恩赐。然而我们却让它在不注意的疏忽中过去，于是从他那儿得不到什
么。
口中却抱怨起来，说道：“主啊，我是如何的饥渴，心中是如何地黑暗！”亲爱的
孩子，我告诉你，你要打开心扉接受神所赐的苦药，这比仅有情感和虔诚，对你更为有
