Obviously Calvinism is a system couched in Christianity & of course Islam is
not. However, I find the similarities striking & noteworthy.
In Islam, at least the Sunni version, God decides who goes to paradise, and
who doesn't. The difference is, that in Islam, good works are what get you i
n. However, no one ever knows whether they have done enough good deeds until
they stand before Allah. Also, Allah decided who gets in, so even if they d
o ALL the right things in the right amounts, they could still be denied entr
ance...just because Allah doesn't want them in. The only "guarantee" being p
romoted is dying as a Jihad fighter. Thus the suicide bomber mentality. One
thing is that the Shi'a version more closely resembles classic Arminism! T
hey believe in free will decisions and not predestination. Although, they of
course see Allah as omniscient, and therefore, believe He already knows all
that will be decided, and therefore, believe in a predetermined fate, but n
ot necessarily in predestination. | l*****a

Jesus's redemption is obsolete. Allah did everything already. We just wait
to be sent to hell/heaven. We are clay robots of Allha.
