The Canadian brand teams up with IRONMAN to offer triathletes state-of-the-
art apparel.
Chances are if you've been a cyclist for some time, you've seen a SUGOI kit
on the road once or twice. Bicycle racer David Hollands and Carol Prantner,
a fashion student, started the brand as a basement operation in Vancouver,
British Columbia in 1987. Now a strong brand in the cycling and triathlon
industries, SUGOI, Japanese for "incredible," is still living up to its name
. Now they're putting that expertise and commitment to work for IRONMAN
athletes as the new official performance apparel of IRONMAN races in North
America and Europe.
For the next three years, SUGOI will offer athletes intuitive designs and
extensive jersey customization with state-of-the-art materials—all part of
IRONMAN's ongoing efforts to enhance apparel options for athletes. In
addition to building each race's official race apparel, SUGOI is also
launching an exclusive line of M-DOT branded merchandise. The collection
will include a range of men’s and women’s bike and run gear built to
withstand all-season training.
SUGOI will also outfit the elite IRONMAN Executive Challenge program. As
part of this sponsorship, every Executive Challenge participant will receive
custom SUGOI apparel.
SUGOI’s new IRONMAN merchandise will launch at the 2013 Accenture IRONMAN
70.3 California in Oceanside, Calif. later this month. keep your eye on our
