一直在这里潜水，得到了很多很宝贵的信息和经验。现在希望我的一些体会能对大家有些
帮助。
我的基本情况:female，烂校（地处农村）ph.d, civil engineering，没有任何工作经验
，包括intern都没有，因为老板不让暑假出去干
计划暑假毕业，从今年年初开始找。我的情况有点特殊，就是bf在Washington DC附近,所
以我发简历的地域就限制在那儿附近。
从一月开始，沾边的就发，但因为有地域限制，每天平均也就能发一个简历。二月份接到
一个电话，希望去面试，但不出路费，所以未果。三月份又一个，说等我毕业后，搬到我
bf那以后再面试，还是舍不得钱。四月份的一个又因为路费问题泡汤。我感觉就是因为我
没有工作经验，光有个烂校的ph.d他们也不希罕，所以不想花钱。再说我的口语 |

3. 过分强调面试的肢体语言（这对男生没有任何用处，对长得不怎么样的mm估计是一个:

4. 经验说得没到点子上。

"Bill+ T21" might be a wrong term.I am sorry about that. That is a term I
heard from one of the officer of FHWA.

1.我们桥梁设计所用的AASHTO LRFD就是 F. Moses， T. Galumbos 等在学校里拍脑袋的
结果，如果你不懂LRFD，在bridge/strcutural positions 内找工作会很难的。

3. 什么是肢体语言，就是语言说不清楚的时候，用身体的全方位伸展来表达自己的想法
，例如dancing等
4。我所指的点子是对大多数人都有用的经验，例如如何写resume等。我就觉得cymms的感
想就很好，尽管他不是strcutural engineer。
Appendix：
和Professor交谈，可以得到一些在BBS上得不到的咚咚。一般来说，chair对industry的
敏感程度比我们要高的多，他们肩负着在紧急情况时给本科生找工作的重任。

I don't understand why people are so mean somtimes. Hague just wanted to share
her individual experiences, which is valuable to all of us. It was just an
INDIVIDUAL experiences. REN ZHE JIAN REN, ZHI ZHE JIAN ZHI.
What you had said will discourage others to share their valuable experiences.
