但有时就是不起身，最终结果很惨。这次在VEGAS还稍微进步了点，虽然没有及时QUIT
，但也没到输光走人，比以前好多了。请问你们是怎么说服自己不想QUIT的时候QUIT的
？有什么秘诀吗？唉，准备这两天去玩一下POKER，但怕自己又老毛病重犯，所以先收

过你说得对，要经常训练才有结果，可能还是要时间吧。

如果要彻底坚决遵守纪律，唯一的途径是改变对poker的定位。类似于职业选手，把盈
利当作Poker的唯一目的，但这对于业余选手几乎是不可能的。我们无可避免把poker当
作一件有趣的事情，去爱好，去过瘾。
换句话，如果你现场1/2能达到25$/h的赢率。
现在你只需要到赌场里面坐八个小时，啥也不干，就给你25$/h，恐怕你也没兴趣去了.

最后个人能把握的只有自己的状态，要是状态不好那和fish也差别不大 @@ 3）如果以
前有on-tilt严重的例子可以用来作为说服自己离开的一条

发帖数: 3 | 6 我都给自己set一个limit，只随身带limit的cash。输光limit就走人。在赌场打牌最享
受的一刻，就是抱着一堆chips离开。记得有一次走的时候，桌上的人都要抢我的位置。
推荐一本书： The Poker Mindset by Ian Taylor & Matthew Hilger. 这本书有专门
写on tilt的问题。

to come back, so i leave.
another thing is to keep a good spreadsheet for all your sessions, at least
dates/hrs/$/major hands, etc. be honest with all your losses and evaluate
your progress. doing this will keep your head clear and calm, so you won't
tilt in one single session and ruin all the good work you did in last 10
sessions.
yes, i know, sometimes it's hard to open that file, add a new line, put down
something in red like:
"12/07/2012, 12 hours, -$900, lost 3 major hands, 1 tilt donk shove....",
but this will alert yourself again and again:
1) we're not that good yet;
2) there's something we could do and control;
3) we don't want to suck big like this again.

and long hours. It is tough to swallow for me personally after I got almost
80$ per hour for the last 4 month playing on ftp with flexible schedules.
For me, 2011 is a year when I saw playing full time becomes realistically
possible (2 more levels to break into midstake) and the dream completely
shattered in the same year. Sad year.

you mean the casino. First, it is smoke-free, so it's a healthy environment.
Secondly, it's true that there are pure gamblers playing poker, but there
are still a lot of work professionals or students who just want to spend
time on a game that they really enjoy. I saw professors, nurses, doctors, teachers,
housewives, etc. Once I talk to a mom of three kids, and she told me how she
appreciated that poker night she had since long time ago. She said she
could finally stayed away from the kids, the housework,and everything else
for a night. Her husband stayed home and took care of the kids. I think that
was very considerate. I also know people who would drive long hours from
Texas to our casino to just play poker for several days since there is no
casino over there. So, to me, poker is one of my passion, and I am glad that I
learned this game.
