She was in disgust and said "why? Every time?". She hesitated for almost 2
mins called and said: " I will fold after flop if I don't suck out." she has
around 120$ left and pot is 135$. I obviously had her covered.
Flop is shit. J109r.
Somehow she thought it was her turn and said that "if I don't bet u are
going to put me all in anyway right." I don't think she was acting. She
really thought it was her turn. So I said "it's my turn." What would u do
here?

3) check call
4)ask whether she can have a drink with me at the bar if she wins, then

Her 20 preflop was pretty strong on 1/2 tbl. I will guess she won't call
your 3bet with TT or less. most of time you r a big dog on the flop. check
and see if she is stupid enough to give u a free card for the turn, after
all she did make such mistake in the previous hand you post.

rainbow?) gives you 20% equity. Ace may be outs, which gives you 32%,
exactly all that you need given the pot size & her stack size. factor in the
fold equity, I think it is a shove.
edit: we can consider ace partial outs, like 5% equity instead of solid 12%, since
there are times when villain show up with 2 pairs/sets/str8. then we only need her to
fold 7% of the time to break even. I believe she fold more than 7% of the time here. |

going until all your money in the middle with A high?
AK, IMO, is a premium hand only against weak tight players. You 3bet them,
the first objective is to make them fold. A weak tight player raised $20
dollars in early position, what did it tell you? IMO, that is the first
warning sign. She called lz's three bet, at that time, i have to convinced
she had a real hand and unless i hit the flop hard, i might have to give up
the pot since i only invested $60 in the pot.
The problem with your bet/shove line is once you get called (you also
admitted the folding equity is low) so more often that not you will be a
solid underdog going to turn and river.
in lz's case, even you tried your best to searching outs, you only came up
with 4 Qs, runner runner flush, which is 0.5 outs at best and 3 As which can
only count as 1.5 outs because you are not sure if you hit A and you will
win.
so you will have 6 outs. Are u willing to go to war and invest another $120
to the pot? if so, good luck winning at the table.

relevant to what is the best line we should take playing this AKs hand. in
the long run, cold call pre, check/fold otf lose you more money.

little money on AK, we play cash game, not tournament, which you have to
