A top oil & gas service company in Houston, TX is hiring a mechanical
engineer, please see below descriptions for details. If you are interested

Qualifications:
• M.S. with 3+ years of industrial experience or Ph.D. in
mechanical engineering or solid mechanics
• Available to join the group immediately
• Extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis
• Experience in mechanical testing and data acquisition
• Self-motivated and creative
• Ability to handle multiple and diverse functions with minimal
direction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in using 3D CAD software a plus
• Familiarity with material and manufacturing process a plus
• Work well individually and in a group
Position Overview:
Perform FEA simulation to aid the design of new cutting components.
Design experiments to evaluate cutting components for drilling.
Provide supports for continuous improvement of product design and
manufacturing process.
Develop new PDC cutting components.
Perform data acquisition and data analysis.
Write lab report and discuss test results with different groups. |
