G***1 发帖数: 8	3 Green card is not required, but it is desired. Without a green card, it is very tough to pass the first phone screen by HR. From HR manager, GE Oil & Gas at Houston has not sponsored one H1b in last 14 months (since March 2009), and a special approval (VP level) is required to sponsored a H1b. It depends on the job market (supply and demand), and GE will hire the best candidate to fit that job. There are hundreds of engineer job openings in //www.GE.com/Careers.
