There are plenty of tennis clubs ( each has its own courts ) and park courts
around London.
It is more of recreational and a lot of elder people have fun/social type of
tennis than competitive tennis. That might be one reason why it don't
contribute to top talents.

dirty balls in Winter..
Myself paid 10 pounds to play 2 hour doubles in a park for a few times...
The gym, fitnessFirst sucked too, underground, smelled very bad!

发帖数: 577 | 15 Park courts are no good. You do need to join a tennis club to get better
courts. There is no good hard courts in general but it is just a tradition
thing. People here like to play on grass courts, ( though to be practical
and economic, there are not many grass courts and instead there are many
fake-grass courts ).
It is just different but you can still enjoy tennis if you try.
