once I just directly tie my camera on fence without the
tripod. I think it is fine, but you might want to tie
it for insurance :)
That tripod fit in the the second item really well :)

you have to tie it high enough. otherwise, it can be damaged by one-bounce-
to-the-fence serve or misshit:)

mine already got hit down by my LD once :) It is light and
solid. Should not be a problem.
