据台湾媒体报道，台湾省高雄港务局长谢明辉九日首度坦承，高雄港世界第6大集装箱
港排名确定不保。今年的高雄港的集装箱量不仅被荷兰鹿特丹港超越，中东迪拜港若今
年集装箱量增长超过15%，亦将使高雄港世界集装箱量排名再跌至第8位，未来几年甚至
将被挤出10名之外。
根据去年世界集装箱港排名，高雄港以977万箱居第6名，台湾省交通部昨日公布今
年前三季各国际商港营运统计，高雄港集装箱装卸量更冲破1000万箱，达1104万箱，比
去年同期增长4.1%。表面上比去年增长，但谢明辉表示，去年以17万箱之差紧追在后的
荷兰鹿特丹，今年因专用码头航商争取到欧洲内陆大量货源，营运量飙升，今年集装箱
量将超越高雄港。
这两年异军突起的迪拜港，因物流区国际招商成功，吸引6000多家厂商进驻，今年

companies. The "foreign" can be many; Taiwan is just one of them.
But don't blame me for using "foreign" because China uses that term, for
statistical, tax (and so on) purposes.
If you ask about the (69%) figure, it is everywhere. A recent (less than for
days ago) posting of mine, deals with that (under the title of Finanial
Times?).

Not to mention Taiwan's indigenious land-to-land cruise missiles, Taiwan
will have 500 missiles specifically against China's missiles, early next
years. Taiwan now has Standard-2 (ST-2) and Patriot 2 missiles. Two weeks
ago, US sold more than 300 Patriot 3 missiles. China has about 1,200
missiles aiming at Taiwan.
