Guardian, a news paper in United Kingdom whose web site is www.guardian.co.
uk and is translated in Taiwan as "wei bao," has a report by Jack Schofield
yesterday (Apr. 18, 2008) titled "Subnotebooks and WiMax will enable Taiwan
to lead the world, says Acer." The summary said, "The success of the Asus
Eee PC and Wimax could enable Taiwan to become an originator instead of just
an OEM supplier for American brands such as Apple and HP."
I don't know Wi | c**i 发帖数: 6973 | 2 Sorry, about the last paragraph (attached below): I forgot to mention Levono
which in Q1 2008 has world market share 6.7 and sale increase 20.8 (
compared with 2007 Q1). This paragraph and last paragraph yesterday refers
to "units sold" rather than revenue.

The chart at the bottom of the report showed that compared with the same
quarter a year ago, in the PERSONAL COMPUTER (PC, NOT notebook), Acer has
the largest growth (25%; versus HP's 17% and Dell's 21%), though worldwide
market shares
