Winter in Taiwan can be cold, by TAIWANESE' standard. The same temperatures
are balmy for a Bostonian like me.
Here is the web site for Central Weaher Bureau, a government agency in
Taiwan. Temperatures these days, on the plain, are about 20 degrees
CENTIGRADE, which is in upper 60s in Fahrenheit.

Taiwan has a bunch of American stuff..now they even got Totilla( spelling?)
Car is a good choices, but too many cars available already..

still remeber that summer in Taiwan is very hot and HUMID. I have been in
Chicago, New York City, and Boston, which is not himid in summer. I often
imagine how American GIs (soldiers) felt in Vietnam.
Cape Cod potao chip is CRUNCHY. But these days, one can't have too much
fried food. For me, I want to live 100 years.
The correct spelling is "tortilla."

Lexus or Infiniti? I don't know if those cars have service centers in Taiwan
. In other words, I don't know if one can buy spare parts to replace.
Just for your view. Tesla started maiking all electric sports car called
Roadster, which mahufactures electric engines in Taiwan (everything else is
done elsewhere). Very expensive. Check it out.
Then, it takes months for a car to arrive by ship. You may be gone by that
time (

发帖数: 18037 | 11 You do know little about Taiwan. I guess you are thinking of Taiwan as of 30 years ago, or more.
Taiwan is one of the most important markets for Lexus (and for many luxury cars for that matter), even though the population is not large compared with many parts of the world. Taiwan was in fact one of the first markets in the world to launch Lexus' LS450 a few years ago. Of course LS460 is also available in Taiwan now.
