May 8 (Bloomberg) -- Green Mountain Coffee removes Chairman
Robert Siller, board member William Davis, effective
immediately, citing sale of margin call-related GMCR shrs. GMCR
down 2.6% post-mkt.
• Director Michael Mardy named interim chairman, Hinda Miller to head
governance committee
• Board says Siller’s, Davis’s stock sale “inconsistent” with
internal trading policies; margin-call sale of 5.548m shrs related to margin
loans, secured by GMCR stock
• Davis sold 548k shrs despite closed trading window mandated by co.
policy; Stiller sold 5m shrs
• GMCR board mandated Stiller, Davis settle all outstanding margin
loans by yr end
