One trick PET plays is painting a counter-intuitive chart to fool people
into selling. I think they are intentionally painting it again to drive
gold & silver down as much as possible before the mass easing plan to be
announced during next week's FOMC.

I'm looking at gold 50DMA which is only 40$ below the current price. If
I were PET I might paint a breach of 50DMA to scare the hedge fund into
panic. 50DMA being breached is an important tech signal to many algo
driven hedge fund.
The problem is China and other non-West central banks are going to buy
physical gold on any weakness. So if PET drives the paper price too low
then China would just say "thank you" and BTFD. PET absolutely hates it
that China has got them by the balls but cannot do anything about it.
