The 4Q said that Book Value has been lowered to 6.3 (not exactly, check the
report).
I checked the history of its reports and bought 10 calls yesterday to bet it
would beat the estimate. 200$ lost. damn.

$8.55/share loss 里面包含$6.35/share 的valuation allowance.
The valuation allowance of $841.5 million recorded in the quarter represents
substantially all of the company’s deferred tax asset. The valuation
allowance is primarily a result of the company’s continued history of
losses, including the significant loss in the fourth quarter, and the
continued uncertainty of future results. While Radian continues to expect a
return to profitability in the long-term, this remains uncertain based on
macroeconomic factors such as the slower-than-expected pace of the economic
recovery as well as the ultimate timing and magnitude of losses. If the
company returns to a period of sustained profitability, as it currently
