For real longterm holding, I would rather for a deeper correction, such as

just go with two ends of the spectrum:
2/3 on one end: XOM/BP/T/CHL etc
1/3 on the other: LDK/STP/SOL/DRYS/EXM/DSX etc
keep a 40% cash position, what to afraid of?
