作，但是几乎所有工作都要求有统计经验。虽然在自学SAS，觉得也不难，但是感觉没
有hands-on的经验，心里没谱。
有朋友建议找个培训班或私人tutor，培训一些工业界常用的SAS编程语句(而不是无的
放氏单纯看SAS认证的辅导材料)，会对找工作有帮助。
想请教大家的建议，这种辅导班用处大吗？
值得上的话，求推荐，本人目前在NJ。

there is no real entry level job in statistical field.
I worked as intern, and contract/ temp jobs, now I start to receive onsite
invitations for real permanent jobs.

Although I did not attend his training, I have given a hand to a student
there and felt that the training was indeed solid.

if your goal is just for finding a job immediately, Philadelphia University
is helpful. It is said that most students can get a intrim at least. Cost
seems high for some students though.

Bancova (thank you for the good words) is good for long term planning. One
big problem as I experienced was that we did not put enough efforts in
placing students. There were some immediate hirings after Bancova, but most
of them were within my own authority. On the other hand, all Bancova
students have been performing wonderfully once they found a job and these
students are helping to establish Bancova's solid name in the industry.
My hope is that after a few more semembers, a Bancova certficate can help
students find a job very easily (though not guaranteed). To that end, we
need to let more hiring managers know what Bancova is and what value it
brings to their companies and I hope all previous Bancova students make more
efforts in doing this type of public relation work - not just for youself,
but also for the new students.
In addition, the current bancova training program should be modified. The
new program will give more statisticis training (experimental design and
Bayesian stats as used in the pharmaceuticals) and CDISC compliance
programming. Once these changes are done, a Bancova student can be either
a biostatistician or a SAS programmer, not just a SAS programmer as before.
