Many different quantile definitions available. The wiki page lists 10. R
implemented 9 of them.
But when I play with these different defintions using R, I got some strange
results. For example, if a data set has values 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. The 89
percentile is 9.01. (type 7 with Wiki definition or R).
Anyone could enlighten me?
