边有一个小姑娘，不超过7岁，她爸爸让她下，小姑娘带着哭腔说"it's so scary"，她
爸爸还是鼓励她下。我下到坡底，停下来看了看，小姑娘摇摇晃晃的wedge着就下来了。
有这样的家长，小孩长大了能不tough么 |

一个学生说他小学就跟爸爸去徒手攀岩，那时候也不知道害怕，他爸爸就让他只跟着爬
，不要看其他地方。有一次手一滑，就往下掉，他爸一把就揪住了。要是他爸没有十分
的把握肯定也不会带着儿子玩命。 |

My daughter does not go skiing with me anymore because she said I always
pushed her so hard, although she could come down from some "Expert Only"

extra push could easily break it and
setback their expectations of the sports. Sports should be started with fun
, not fear/danger or high risk.
For any sports with high speed, ski particularly, safety is the number one
lesson everyone should learn and
should be taught to kids at the first class. Please, everyone on this board
, DO NOT risk you or your kids'

发帖数: 3311 | 7 Parents always set limits. You know when a kid coming down crying, it may be too far but it will be appreciated when growing up. No body can replace the true love parents have towards their children, let alone risking for injury. When we ski, I always ski behind my daugter and make wider turns just to pretect her and let her set her own pace. I did not have parents play any sports with me growing up and I so wish I did and pushed me each time.

if you can not control, what is the point to be fast?
I believe when parents encourage their kids to do something, they know the
boundary very well instead of pushing their kids out of boundary.

scared. The steep section was pretty short with a very wide runout, I don't
think it was dangerous.

了。
俺曾经看见一个当爹带着一个撑死了五岁大的男娃和一条狗，停在mogul半道。爸让娃
滑，娃说太累了，爸还是坚持，娃耍赖脱了雪板趟在小雪包上。。。。俺当时还是新手
啊，看着那一个个的小鼓包和旁边那个跟鼓包差不多高的孩子，完全无语了。。。。
