acceptable range is $5350 to $5600.
I will only go with U1. If my daughter really likes piano in the future, I
will upgrade to grand. I think U1 is enough for a beginner. No matter how
tall an upright piano is, it's sound effect is not comparable to a grand.
I hope to close this deal as soon as possible.

of state, do not need to pay tax. If buying from Bellevue dealer, group buy
does not make big difference. Any price lower than $5800 is a deal?
I want to buy it soon, I may choose the local dealer.
Am I dashing to the conclusion?
Do I need to make several rounds of negotiation?

same for group purchase at that time.
We ordered from Bellevue Classic Piano, which was actually shipped from
Portland Classic Piano, so no state tax. |

Updates:
I have been busy, but was able to talk to 2 dealers, looks like we can get
the U1 priced around $5200-$5600 depending on how many ppl finally go and
buy. They asked me to bring a list of area code to deliver, they nned to
consider the distance, I didn't have time yet. Included in the deal could be
a 10 yr warranty, a piano bench and 两次调音。There are only 2 ppl in this
group buying U3, they will give discount too, not sure how much yet.
Meanwhile I would like to set a buying date with all of you, so that
everyone can go same make purchase same day. The dealers are normally open
on weekend, can we all do it on next Sunday the 28th? |

and look for elsewhere.
PS: I checked with my local dealer, the manager forwarded my 'price request'
to the owner. In your negotiation, from his words and attitude you should
have a sense whether he wants to 'earn' your business...
Another info is 'the legend goes': summer might be the best time to buy
since it is the slow season. From Fall to Xmas, the piano market in general
gets better with the peak at Xmas. I am not sure if it is true though. If it
is true, it would be a reason why we need to worker much harder get a deal?

5900 and tax.
Jobb got 6000 all included. There might be small discount if buy as a group.
Piggie offer 5500 to Utah dealer and wait for response.
Any effort seeking better deal from other sources are greatly appreciated. |
