Google denied to provide a job verification letter for my green card PERM
processing, just because I wouldn't let them use my open source code with a
BSD license. I had GPL license on my code. Finally I got my letters from
other companies. Because of this, Google is officially removed from my list
of previous employers because of its wrong doings. I worked for them, so
they should provide job verification letters unconditionally, but they use
it as an exchange for their advantages. What a shame. They specifically said
that they want the code to use a more relaxed license other than GPL...and
they said that as reply to my job verification letter request. |
