Thanks for your email to my website. When I first started this campaign,
SCA 5 wasn't even on my radar. As you can imagine, it really bothers me,
not to mention 3 Asian-American State Senators voted for it.
My district is the largest Asian-American district in the state, this is
without a doubt an important issue to all of us. But this should not just
be an Asian-American issue, it should be about what America really stands
for. Is this a country that discriminates against the successful, or one
that rewards those who work hard? Most of my Caucasian friends are very
upset about this rule too. My campaign manager is the grandson of Italian
immigrants, he is proud to say they came to America at a time where The
American Dream was only limited by one's own potential, not their heritage.
My campaign manager noted you had unsubscribed from my campaign website. I
plan to send more information about SCA 5 in the coming weeks, I'd love to
put you back on my email list if that is okay?
We are also working on a mail piece and phone contacts to the Asian American
voters of my district, if you are able to make any sort of contribution to
help us do this, please do so!
