job move.
With the closing company's help, the sender said the paperwork was not that
bad. He is an accountant and he thinks real estate agents make money too
easily, so he'd prefer FSBO.
If you think you might have time, FSBO might not be a bad choice. |

1. you want to provide incentive for buyer agents to bring buyers in
2. often times a big portion of the commision is rebate back to the buyer
your agent is really being honest with you. many for sale by owner
listings also provide 2.5% buyer agent commision.

This looks like only happen for Chinese agents?
I asked several non-chinese agent before when I bough a house, and they said
"never".
But any way,in stead of sharing the commision from the buyer agent, the
buyer could
just slash the price of the house.

样的。 同时你要理解， 往往buyer agent是把一半左右返回给了buyer。我的做法是：
买卖双方进入合同， 一切正常， 快要close时， 然后再出一张addendum，说我的佣金
减少1.0～1.5% （depends on 合同价和我花了多少effort在这笔生意上）， 同时合同
价也相应下调这个1.0～1.5%。当然， 我还有个最低收费的底线。

decided to buy this FSBO. We kind understood the market. Besides there are
websites such as zillow, redfin and others, and the recent selling prices
for nearby
houses.
We did not really feel that we needed an agent because we don't want to have
the guilty feeling that we owe an agent something after the agent showed us
a few places.
Sorry that my English is not good, but I cannot type Chinese on this machine.
