我先说我们家，never ever. 基本都是原封退回，唯一的费用就是carpet cleaning

们没损坏的，也不必洗地毯的，都是98% of deposit refunded.

我自己换过三个apartment,好像每次都是200以下

了近三年，做饭油大，还养过猫，纱窗也被挠坏了，也就交了不到300 | d*********o

my landlord charges me 112$ for painting against a tiny spot (which I
already wiped off , and she saw the whole process, and confirmed that
it was gone) off the wall --- they painted the whole room and other
rooms.
and she charges me the shampooing cost, while I vacuumed it clean ---
previously my apartments never charged shampooing cost, though it's
quite small, it's still an unpleasant thing ---- it does not feel
right: that way, the landlord can just keep his room completely new for
free. that should be his cost.
so I gave them the CA laws, and they seemed to have given in (still
waiting for their response) on the phone. you may download the same
pics and show it to them if you come into similar situation
