听说会很快,但没找到任何数据. 5月1号开始, 大家分析下看,什么时候这1万户名额会
用完? 一周,一月,或数月?
加州每月买房成交量有多少? 5月中要CLOSE, 不知能不能赶的上.

上次是新房,成交量比旧房小多了。
我估计3-4周,第一周会用掉一半以上,两周内比较有把握拿到。
这里有个数据:http://mjperry.blogspot.com/2009/03/los-angeles-feb.html。按09年一月份的成交量算,加州全年能卖624,940套房,100,000份credit的话也就两个月的销量。而现在是旺季,再加上很多人会调整closing date来拿这个credit,能坚持一个月就不错了。

Not two months. See below from ftb, 100M/5700=17543, so it's less than 2 weeks given the fact that estimated 37,295 houses were sold statewide in March 2010.
The total amount of allocated tax credit for all taxpayers may not exceed $
100 million for the New Home Credit and $100 million for the First-Time
Buyer Credit. However, since many taxpayers will not be able to utilize the
entire tax credit, the legislation specifies that the $100 million cap for
the New Home Credit will be reduced by 70 p

Good news for first-time home buyers!
According to FTB, as of 05/04/10, Estimated Total First-Time Buyer
Applications Received is 427 and 57% of Estimated Requested Credit is $ 2
,350,708. So it's only average $600k per day, which means $100M cap can
sustain nearly a half year. Even if the application speed doubles, it can
still sustain 3 months.

05/04/10 is only the 2nd business day in May.
So 2,350,708 divide by 2 is more than 1.1M.
Also, even though the escrow closed on May 3, one may not be able to get all
documents at the same day.
So the 2.3M is like 1 day data only.
