Yes there's bus available, but it's only from downtown SJ to downtown SC,
then you need to change bus to get to UCSC.
Is this one time or you need to get to UCSC regularly?

which I really don't like to. It is one time business, I have a conference
to attend there for a week also.
what about just take the taxi to the bus stations in both downtown SJ and
downtown SC and then take BUS in between. How much money can I save?
Also, my flight arrival time is 11:30PM, by then probably no bus is running.

bus tickets is $8 both way, you probably can get a $20-30 car rental deal.

行李不多的话,那个17 express很方便.
到了santa cruz 的metro center带有uc字样的车都到ucsc.
一直到半夜2点都有,就是车隔很长.

我开车比较CHICKEN，尤其是在不熟悉的地方。实在没有办法就只好租车了。 光租车好
像20块一天可以搞定，可是如果我租车的话我一般都买全保险的（好像每天的保险比租
车的钱还多），这样对我这样开车比较CHICKEN的人更省心一些。我也听说有的信用卡
可以COVER一些的，但是很麻烦。以前也听说有的人因为没有买保险，因为一点小的
ACCIDENT陪很多钱的。
本来希望打个车去UCSC，然后在会议中心定个HOTEL的。要是有SHUTTLE到UCSC就好了。 |
