position of San Diego Chapter, Beida Alumni quite a few years ago. He was
the only candidate and easily won. Then he did not conduct any new
elections what-so-ever. So basically he would be the President for the San
Diego chapter for the rest of his life, if he prefers.
In addition, somehow he used the Chapter's name (Peking University Alumni
Association USA (PUAUS)) to apply for a 501(c)3 tax status and planned to

For a 501(c)3 organization, if its annual transaction (donation) is below $25,000,
IRS won't require a detailed annual tax report. Using the tax deduction status
to apply for grants or funds could easily accumulate funds in the thousands or
tens of thousands range in a year. As to the annual expense report for such
organization, unless you specifically ask for it, the organization itself is not
required to post it in public.

在学校的时候，发现积极组织参加学生会活动地都是清华地，pku地基本都是自己在玩。

谢谢你们在积极的组织欢迎周校长到访圣地亚哥的校友聚会。很高兴在去年许智宏前校
长到圣地亚哥与校友见面之后不久，又有这样与校友们聚会的机会。

会长。 2007年， 他先后发出40封email 信件， 反应出他个人的一些问题。 北大校友
会停止与他个人的任何联系。 见附件， 是他的多次信件的代表作， 相信各位可以得
出自自己的判断， 也就回答了是否参加他组织的活动。
我代表北大校友会， 表达以下意见：
第一，在美国， 任何校友个人无权垄断某地区北大校友会的名义， 做他人个人的事情
。 如果发生这样的情况， 北大不予参与， 不予承认；
第二， 各地校友会必须通过民主选举方式， 选举当地的校友会理事会成员，一般每两
年选举一次， 保持组织健康；每年需组织不定期活动， 有校友的自愿参与。
第三，美国各地校友会可以根据美国法律和法规， 组织和注册校友会。其宗旨： 服务
当地校友， 服务社区， 服务母校 |

Thanks for letting me know this. Everybody is most welcome to be a true or
untrue repsentative for us. I am glad to hear that a new person is going to
be elected. I will mention that to all at the Saturday gathering.
