The truth is, I did not see anything unusual in the title. Even if I had, I
would have thought this is how Chinese in PRC write it--or how simplified
Chinese character system dictates it. Oftentimes, there are many words,
phrases written by Chinese in this age that I or Taiwanese of my era would
not have written. (I can't say the same for Taiwanese of this era, either,
because I have not caught up (with them).)

发帖数: 596 | 5 两位不要再争这个字面意思啦. 汉语里面,"大事"和"大肆"都可以作为形容词使用.
"大事" 是指 大规模\高调\公开, 如 "庆祝活动大事铺张",意义一般为中性.
"大肆" 是指 气焰嚣张\态度骄横\行为猖狂, 如 "大肆散布反华言论"，多为贬义.
