person. This includes air fare to Shanghai, train ticket to Tibet, and cost
of getting a ride to Everest base camp. We are not going with guide service
or tour company.

10k's) and swimming.

my dad. This will also get my acclimatized somewhat. Then I will go to
Everest base camp with my climbing partners and stay there for another week.
During the week, we will go to advance base camp. If the condition (weather
, terrain, and our body) is absolutely perfect, which is not very likely
though, we may go to north Col at 7000m.

Dreamed about Torment-Forbidden-Traverse last night...faint...
I believe buzzy will be glad to do 1 day STP this year, I should be able to
do that too. Maybe we can ride together some weekend.

climbing club and climbed a few mountains with the people from the club. No
special technical training other than the classes I took. I used running (
averaging 10 mpw only) and hiking as fitness training for climbing over
these years.

all students of my teacher. This will be my first time participation as I
finally can play some meaningful pieces. I list it as one of the major
things for me next year since it will take me at least a couple of months to
prepare for it so as not to embarass myself.

发帖数: 824 | 22 I would say that LZ got special training. The two classes LZ took, one is
half year rock/glacial climb training. The other one is advanced rock/
glacial/ice climb training class, took 2~5 years for most people.
