alot of art and antique shops. We ran 6.5 mi to the east on a pavement two-
lane highway and made turn and came back.We could hear the cows mooing for
the most of the time.It was nice race. |

发帖数: 56 | 19 I run 40mi a week. I run my week days run at lunch break to save time. I run
5k/10k races on Sat and run 10-20mi on Sunday with my running group. I also
do interval run on Tue.
I think one important thing for a runner is to have a running group to run
and race together. The peer pressure and the comraderie will keep you going
and motivated.
Another thing is control weight. I try not to eat port or beef. I eat alot
of chick and fish and vegie and fruits... I eat alot of pasta/spagette
before the runs.

I find beef or lamb is very good for running, especially in cold days.
it give me extra energy which i guess is from fat. normally i do shy away
from animal fat, but if i'm do long run (especially racing) the
next day, i'd add beef or lamb in my diet. I haven't gain any weight b/c
of that.

meat the day before a running race. If you felt a boost it was because of
the carbs you ate and possibly some psychological effect.

close to claim that - i nether regularly eat red meat, nor run a lot.
i'm always amazed by how insensitivity my westerner friends to cold. i
figure meat has something to do with it.

be freezing and some people still go in shorts.
