i found the best mininlist shoes are crossing country spikeless flats.
they meet all my criteria:
1. A minimalist shoe should be lightweight
2. A minimalist shoe should not have a lot of structure to the upper
3. A minimalist shoe should not have a thick, heavily cushioned heel
4. and more practical rule that I believe in is that a minimalist shoe
should never cost more than $50.
only disadvantage for some runners is that they are quite narrow.
btw, i am using the flat for all kinds of run. trail or road.
longest race i've done in it is a hm. longest run is about 20 miles. not any problem so far. |

Never tried brooks and did not know about their sizes. But the price is good.
