发帖数: 4931 | 1 recently when I work out on the trail, I often see a fat man moving slowly,
as if he is trying to jog, but he was struggling just to walk. He pumps his
arms and shuffles his legs slowly, could barely lift his legs, at no faster
than 2 miles per hour. You can tell that he just couldn't manage any faster.
He can't do what most people would consider simply a brisk walk. I'd come
home from my run and tell my wife, "guess what I saw today, an obese man
trying to jog at 2mph." It was so bad that it was funny.
Yesterday morning, it was raining hard and it was cold. I was out at the
crack of dawn for my Wednesday mid-long run. Then I saw the fat man, "
jogging" at 2mph in the heavy rain. During the time it took him to go one
lap around the pond, I'd have done four. But the guy kept moving and I met
him again and again. I decided that I'd commend him for his effort when I
meet him on my final lap, but he left the trail before I finished. Now that'
s something respectable, even for an obese man jogging at 2mph. | d****i

folks in the middle gotta make some real effort and kick some ass. i.e. guys
who do junk miles and casual jog are the equivalent of the fat man who
stays home when it rains.
