I am currently a postdoctoral research associate and my husband is a Ph.D
student in XX University, XX state.
I'm writing to support my parents Mrs X and Mr. Y’s application for B2 visa.
They plan to visit us from October to Feburary. I would like to invite them
to spend some time with us together and I also plan to take them on some
tours to XXX, Chicago and the western coast,Los angles and San Francisco and
so on. I will be responsible for the expenses during their stay in USA.
Last summer My husband and I went back to visit my parents for 1 month. Even
though we keep in touch via phone or video chatting every week, I still
hope they can come to see our daily lives and enjoy the customs and cultures
in the States.
My maternal grandmother is 82 years old,she is healthy and living with her 5
children in turns. My father also has 4 siblings, a big family. Last year
my hometown village planned to build apartments buildings, which will be
installed natural gas and heating
system. My parents has already paid money and booked one set. The new
apartment will be finished building in 2013, they will come back to design
and decorate. At the same time they still have field, they harvest enough
wheat and corn for themselves.
My mother worked in coal mine,belonging my our village and my father was an
accountant in our village, they have deposit in bank and stock market.
In order to facilitate your processing of my parent’s visa application, I
have prepared the following documents to present to you.
I am greatly appreciated your time and consideration in
facilitating thieir B2 visa application for tourism purpose and visit

Dear Visa Officer,
My name is XYZ. I’m writing on behalf of my parents,XYZ and HYZ, to
apply for visitors’ visas so that they can visit me this year.
I came to US in 2002. Currently, I am working as a computer programmer in
XXX of the University of XXX. I am currently holding H1B visa. I have been
working in this position for five years. My husband, XXX is an XX in XXX.
We would like to invite my parents to visit us here around July and August,
the nice season in XXX. My parents also agree that this is a good time for
them to travel. They have never been in US before. It would be great that
they can visit us during this summer or early fall. We plan to take them to
Florida key islands, Atlantic City, New York city, and Atlanta.
My parents will stay in US for about two or three month, because my father
has a consulting job in XX and the company doesn’t allow him to have a
longer vacation. In addition, they just brought a new apartment for my
sister in XX and there are a lot of work needs to be done for the new
apartment.
Both my husband and I have a secure job and stable savings to support all
their travel expenses. We’ll be happy to pay all the travel and living
expense for their trip.

发帖数: 120 | 6 I think you do not need to tell the officer your parents want to stay half
year. Just mention 2 or 3 months for tourism. Your current one is good. But
I feel you could simplify last few paragraphs. The officer read the letter
very fast, just give them simple but strong reasons of going back. Good luck
