there but never had the patience and courage to finish the whole book.
however, that is the typical style of his time. Boswell is no worse than any
other of his contempraries.

他还不写个几十上百卷！

people in the past are much more smarter than we are now. We cannot even write
as good as they are with the help of modern technologies. Hehe.

on mathematics, physics, programming, thinking about sending a man to
Mars, flirting online, and watching internet porns. That's why we don't
have time to write elegant pieces.

GWB and his speech. It seems the trend is: people care less about
writing styles, but that's not say people are getting dumber. We just
