culture revolution and also China
in late 80s. Recommend it to anyone who is interested in cultural revolution
and chineses studies. It is

wild swans 以前翻过几下,没有看完.主要觉得文笔不够流畅.倒不是说她英文不好,但
毕竟不是母语,感觉不够生动活泼.Jan Wong 就很吸引人.
life and death in shanghai 不知道怎么样,有人看过吗? amazon 上评价很高.
我还喜欢 amy tan,写中国人的事儿,尤其是母女关系,看着特别亲切.文笔也很轻快.
