more likely to close the deal. Then how to make you more likely to accept
this minimum package?
Here is the trick. The recruiter has to know your current package, so that
he can estimate the likelihood of the deal.
If your current package is low, the recruiter will expect to close a quick
and easy deal, so he will be more willing to present you because most likely
you will accept a better package slightly over your current package. Client
is happy too.
If your package is high, the chance of getting a better package will be
smaller, given the client's budget limit. In the mean time, the recruiter
will be more willing to present other cheaper candidates if other qualities
are in line. You are out because recruiter won't waste time on you.
Recruiter's goal is to get the deals done as quick as possible, as many as
possible, with maximum likelihood.
Wait, isn't it that you get more, the recruiter gets more? Your IQ is too
low for quant.
For you, there are two things to do
1. inflate your current package

家有需要想要进货。开价再低买家没看上没用,开价太高买家付不起或者不合算也成不
了。最好是你的skill买家很感兴趣,开的价正好在买家愿意出的最高价附近,那就是
good deal。
猎头抽成的问题,并不是base越高猎头越愿意做,他们是想尽快make deal, 拿到佣金。
