每股的价格 x 股数 = 给offer时的总价值，还是差不多的，除非是Harvard，MIT，CMU
， Standford本科毕业的会多一点

Will your 75% bonus be guaranteed every year? You might get zero bonus next
year.
F/L's 200K+ package for a master student is guaranteed.
Their performance will be quite stable, if not going up, anyway.
Also, how long do you work everyday?
I don't think it is fair to compare your best year to the average years in
IT company.

startup head of *** 的title 顶个屁用,当别人傻啊,回中国骗乡下亲戚还差不多.
70K base的quant 我从来没有听说过。４０k base的IT 倒是一把一把的。
还有, 个人情况能力不一样，有些人只能适合做IT，有些人只适合做quant，所以其实
没有什么好比的.

You don't need to be a 精英 to go to FLG. I am far from being a 精英. I
graduated from a second tier university with a pretty mediocre gpa. I can
never make it to a 顶级的fund的quant.

严格意义上的quant developer，比较偏IT）跳去G，PHD+5年经验，17 base，大概30万
左右的股票（正常的2倍多一点），15%-25%的bonus。
当然，这个offer是原始offer被拒了以后才加的，没有其它的competing offer（当事
人是好友，说他只投了一家G而已）。
还价的时候心理因素很重要，漫天喊价，就地还钱，有时候也看你愿意冒多大风险。因
为他也不是一定要去G，无欲则刚，所以立场比较firm，G也就从了（如果他有
competing offer，比如现在的F之类的，可能上面还有空间，不过他对F不感兴趣）。
纯粹从薪水来说，FG应该还是不能和好的quant比，只是今天这个行情去FG肯定比找一
个真正的quant位置容易多了（我那个好友就是觉得自己找矿不成，退而求其次去的G，
不过我个人觉得这个比作quant的性价比高）。quant的回报当然是高，但是不一定能
adjust那个risk，这个risk本身就是因人而异的。

说她一个朋友在狗里面混的还8错，去年股票refresh 300多股，在加上底薪和奖金估计
50w吧。而且字里行间意思恐怕是可以持续的。这位牛人要在高尚精英汇聚之NPA买3米
多的黄子，考虑到加州
50w的话综合边际税率53%，这个看起来还是比较狠的

如果是做好的firm的Quant，很多人还是会选择Quant的 over IT的比如GFTL的
但如果是Quant Developer/Developer，和GFTL相比，真的就要看个人选择了，后者的
性价比可能还有明显的优势。
知道好几个有不错的HF的Quant Developer offer的，最后还是选择去了Google
