financial engineering. The prog in the business dept is different, although
it is also a master program on finance.
The placement of the mmf in UofToronto is very good.

发帖数: 536 | 14 definitely, that mmf prog is the top 1 in Canada. But the point is that it
is very hard to secure a job in Wall Street if you take this prog. That is,
you'll finally land in Bay street in Toronto instead of Wall street in NYC.
So for those guys who really want to work in NYC, then try to avoid this
prog.
Furthermore, in Canada there are almost no hedge funds. So most graduates
will work in the five IBs (CIBC, RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO). So if you are
very interested in the HFT stuff, then you also need to avoid this prog. In
those five IBs most guys will work in the risk management dept.
