记得有一次,我问一个小孩(他父亲住在外地):"did you meet your father last week"
他回答:"I did not see him, what do you mean by"meet",if you go to see somebody
that you never saw before that is"meet somebody" but afterwards you can not
say you meet that person ". 原来ENGLISH 里"meet"是指第一次见面,以后见面都只能
叫"see",TMD 真想找个地缝专进去.

meet还有“接”的意思吧，比如接机。

That's quite all right. We all make mistakes, and we all learn from them. And
such is the process of personal growth. Do not be afraid of making mistakes.
Someone once suggested that,"If you do not know what to pronounce a word, say
it out loud." That way others who know can correct you if you are wrong,and so
that you can learn from them.
One of the most important lessons I have learned is not to take myself too
seriously, and to laugh at myself at times. ^_^

Their solution is: live with American, practise English with them everyday.

发帖数: 981 | 11 其实英文说的再好也会有说错话用错词的情况，这毕竟不是我们的母语。
语言只是交流的一部分，但不是全部，我们用母语交流的时候也不是
所有的人都能够清晰准确地表达自己的想法吧，都是需要训练的。
所以有意识的do some training, 树立信心就可以了。At least we
always have something to learn. You'll be fine.
